We will hold personal data for the period necessary for processing the same in compliance with the provisions of any appropriate law governing Data Privacy

Access, rectification, opposition: A person may access, modify, correct or delete their own personal data. A person may also oppose the use of their own personal data, particularly to avoid receiving sales and marketing information. We will ensure reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect personal data against alteration or accidental or unlawful loss, or unauthorized use, disclosure or access.
Sharing and international transfer
We will never share personal data information with any third parties. All our data is stored on servers within the EU.

This policy applies to all data processing as carried out at our headquarters in Sweden.
It also applies to our www.safehotels.com website in English, and local translations thereof.

Personal information, which a person shares with us, in order to obtain information about our services or in order to obtain a quotation.
Cookies to track and optimize webpage behavior. Should a person object, they are free to turn off cookies in their local browser.
From prospecting Hotels :
Personal information in order to clarify our service offering and, if applicable, assist with providing a service offering.
From certified Hotels :
Personal information from hotel employees, in order to streamline the communication around the certification process.
When visiting hotels for purposes of Certification our assessors take pictures as part of the certification process validation. Our assessors are briefed not to take pictures, in which a person can be identified.
FOR WHAT PURPOSES
We collect personal data for the purposes of:
- Managing our customer relationships with various prospect and contracted hotels.
- Processing personal data in our customer marketing program in order to carry out marketing operations, promote brands and gain a better understanding of customer requirements and wishes
- Adapting our products and services to better meet customer requirements
- To complete the Certification assessment process, which as a standard requires capturing pictures on hotel premises.
- Improving our internal processes especially:
- Replying to customer comments or inquiries
- Managing complaints and quality assurance
- Enhancing our website
DATA SECURITY
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to protect personal data against illicit or accidental destruction, accidental alteration or loss, and unauthorized access or disclosure. To this end, we have taken technical measures (such as firewalls) and organizational measures (such as a user ID/password system, means of physical protection etc.).
STORAGE OF DATA
We retain personal data only for the period necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or in accordance with the provisions of applicable law.
ACCESS AND MODIFICATION
A person has the right to access personal data collected by us and to modify it subject to applicable legal provisions.

For the purposes of confidentiality and personal data protection, we will need to identify persons making requests such as a copy of an official piece of identification, e.g. a driver’s license or ID card
All requests will receive a response as swiftly as possible and in accordance with applicable law and copies of ID destroyed/deleted immediately on confirmation.
